Almost 400

Almost 400 visits on SSyndrome within 1,5 months! Thank you very much, guys, boys and girls! I'm so happy that this blog is interesting for you, hope it will be like this and better in future)
In my plans to make a final, 3d post of "Memories..." with summer Stockholm pics; the post about huge construction site in Solna, underground explosions and mysterious bridge and some other ideas. So welcome all of you, hope u enjoy it!
Have you seen the "Thor" movie? It's one of my favorites, and i first saw it on 2th May, one day before my flight to Sweden. So that was really great, the first touch of Scandinavia and its legends.. What i really like in this movie is that it's carefully based on true scandinavian legends about Oden, Tor, Nifelhem, Yggdrasil, Bifrost and etc. Very little hollywood stuff is added there, so it does not spoil the original story at all. And the mythic lands of North are shown their best and deserve 10/10.
Here i post some pics of Asgård and Valhall, the capital of god's land. I hope Stockholm will some day be like that :)

Enjoy and Good luck!

Bifrost, the Rainbow Bridge, connecting Asgård with Muspelheim, Midgård, Nifelheim, Jotunheim and Utgård. In "Thor" movie, Tor destroys Bifrost with Mjölner and therefore isolates Asgård from outer ring of worlds.

La Rue de la Merde Pt. 2

Hope u enjoy the pics from marvelous city of Paris. When it comes to my impressions about this trip, in which my relatives, friends, my beloved and all of you, i guess, are interested - well, it can't be described in two words. Complex impression, not abused with optimism or pessimism. Just the truth which i saw, the world as a reflection in traveler's eyes.
I started to write this poem, "La Rue de la Merde", in Paris itself, on the second day of the voyage. The reason of such glorious title was the wi-fi. Of course i thought it to be free in cafe or hotels. But no. In Paris you have to pay for everything. They don't know the word "FREEdom" "FREE". When the concierge told me that, the first thing i wanted to do after 5 min of shock was to go downstairs again and tell him: "Votre hotel est situee sur la Rue de la Merde!". I was really angry with all these capitalistic obstacles, especially after coming from Sweden.

I hope u will enjoy the poem itself, it'll make u look on Paris from the other point of view:) looking forward for ur comments:)

La Rue de la Merde

On the way to "Darkest" hotel
From the start all start to vomit.
Strangest headache came in my head,
Watch rotating traffic jam wheels.

Sky is empty as grey nazism,
Streets are crowded with people.
I'll avoid the dying sunshine,
I will try to live the night life.

Do you know the smell of piss?
You should visit streets of France,
Where the rivers flow straight through it,
Where the ugly smells in air dance.

You are not rich. You are not poor.
You shall never find your own place
In the Paris, lead by strict rule:
"All poor men are fucked by rich's mace"

I was walking on so long routes,
Covered by the midnight shadows,
I saw woe and cry of poorest,
I saw glamor of the richest.

I don't know why people tell you
When you're gonna visit Paris:
"Oh, so charming! It's the best of
All the cities on the planet!"

Don't believe the foolish gossips,
Tell them: "Have you ever been to
City of forever lost hopes,
Capital of forfeited wisdom?"

When you travel through the night
You are looking for three words.
When no people are around
Where EQUALITY has gone?

In the world down under moonlight
Why FRATERNITY was vanished?
Now I know: that reek has come from
Corpse of LIBERTY abolished.

These three words are now in cement,
In the stone of giant statues
Which were built in long past ages
As a guardians of Future.

These three words were quietly whispered
From their stone forever dead lips.
Marble eyes are looking on me,
Telling me: "You've lost your last chance"

Suddenly i start to scream,
I woke up. No sound around.
Stop. Stop. Stop. Was it a dream?
And described has never come?

Window. View. I realize
That my dream has never gone.
Down there poor man death was shined
By the capitalism dawn.

La Rue de la Merde Pt. 1

Hej igen,
I proudly acknowledge that i was out from SSyndrom for 2 weeks. The republic no.5 takes very much energy from you. I was in the Paris as planned from 7 to 11 Nov, then working, home stuff and etc. And now.. Now is SO boring to write about the trip and etc. I hope the pics i've done there with beloved s95 will tell you my french story much better than crippled english of russian boy :)
And hi again again!)

Hotel "1/4 General". Strange name. But this is how it was called in invitation paper. As it was found later, "1" means that the room is for one person, and "4" is for 4 nights. But i fall in love with "1/4 General" and will call it this way forever.
She. Note that at day hours she is disgusting. No wonder everybody wanted to get rid of her.
There was no sun on the sky during my visit. I'm happy that i had a chance to experience Paris in the way no tourist do it. Basically, i made two night trips, from 22pm to 4-5am. All night walking, so most of the pics were taken at night hours.
I suppose this is General Quarter :)
The Great Palace. I guess when Hitler conquered France, it was his favorite building. Build in 1890s, it screams with the Nazi symbolism. Look at next pics also.
My midnight partners, Churchill..
..and Clemenceau.
Concordia, with its sence of masons in every brick.

Notice that the Tower light is turned off. Because there is already 3pm on the clock. No one to give the light for.
